Xiaomi is preparing to launch MIUI 13 – its next-generation mobile operating system. Xiaomi reportedly updated its native Mi File Manager app and updated several of its animations and UI features to match the design of its upcoming skin.
As part of MIUI 13, a newly designed Mi Drive page and new UI elements are added to the system file manager. It is also important to note that MIUI File Manager has not undergone any major functionality changes from its previous version. However, Xiaomi has included several new visual elements and animations that were not in the previous version of the file manager.
What else is new in MIUI 13?
This update is based on Android 12 mobile operating system and offers high-level privacy protection in three key areas: face verification, privacy watermarking, and electronic fraud prevention. The face verification system in MIUI 13 will capture users’ entire upper body as part of the face verification process.
MIUI 13 also allows users to add new privacy watermarks to their digital ID photos stored on their devices.In addition, MIUI 13 protects users against fraudulent calls, messages, and applications with its anti-fraud system.A new dynamic wallpaper demonstrates how crystal formation is seen at 8K time-lapse through a polarization microscope.
